We are not nouns, we are verbs. I am not a thing…I am a person who does things…and I never know what I’m going to do next. I think you can be imprisoned if you think of yourself as a noun.

I study mathematical properties of black holes and their effects on other things in the Universe. I spend my spare time on photography, and sometimes, painting. I write short stories, and haikus on occasion. I am also excited by the wonderful ideas in web design and the IndieWeb, and play around with the them on this site.

Parallel Transport has been around — in one form or another — since 2006. This incarnation is built with HTML+microformats, CSS, Javascript.
The visual design is based on a responsive grid system built using the very awesome tool Gridset by Mark Boulton Design. The main typefaces are Merriweather and Josefin Slab. The beautiful pictograms are from Entypo by Daniel Bruce.
Behind the scenes, it is powered by Django, a web framework based on Python, and hosted on Webfaction.
